It should probably be clarified that Independents that caucus with Democrats count as seats controlled by Democrats (based on the linked NYTimes page).
Also, if Republicans and Democrats control an equal number of seats, bet resolves would resolve as no.

Does this include the potential runoffs in Georgia and Louisiana, or are they the numbers as they stand excluding those races? And does Kansas Independent candidate Greg Orman count as a Democrat, given he’ll likely caucus with them?
