What time did it trade below 80?

    #4143: Anonymous 14-10-14 at 19:38

Thanks. Do you have the source on the CME site? I can’t find what times individual trades occurred.

    #4144: Anonymous 14-10-14 at 19:46

It never dropped below 91, per cmes charts.

    #4145: Anonymous 14-10-14 at 19:55

That’s clearly not at all accurate. It has the low price listed today at 79.98, I just can’t find the time that trade occurred to see if my confirmation here beat the trade.

That’s not a legitimate source. The bet clearly states that CME is the source of record.

Use 1 minute bar chart on the cme group site

    14:30 79.98

    #4149: Anonymous 14-10-14 at 21:42

14:30 is 2:30 central time, where CME is located in Chicago. Chicago is GMT -5, which means 14:30 Chicago is 19:30 server time.

If that’s true, my bet (b11, confirmed at 18:52) made it in time. This is why I’m trying to find the exact time. It matters.

    #4150: Anonymous 15-10-14 at 00:07

4148. cme at 14:30, 1 minute bar, clearly shows 81.31. Bet is not over.

    #4151: Anonymous 15-10-14 at 00:49

Mate, you clearly don’t know what you’re looking at. Make sure you’re looking at FEB 2015 oil futures, not the futures for the current month.

    Here’s a look at the 1-minute increments:

You can see the day low dip below the 80.00 line.

All bets are valid, they were all confirmed before 19:30, when this trade occurred.

My apologies. He is correct. Not the easiest way to confirm a bet but it is valid. Shut it down.

    #4153: Anonymous 15-10-14 at 01:57

It’s all good. I couldn’t even figure it out myself. I didn’t even notice that the charts broke down to the minute until someone else pointed it out, and thank god they did, cuz otherwise I woulda believed that first guy that my bet was too late and maybe I would been out some money here. But the 1-minute chart clearly shows my bet was in 38 minutes before the 79.98 trade happened.

Now I just hope admins can figure out the CME site to confirm.

Look it up mate, CME time is central standard. Central standard is GMT -5, not GMT -4 like you are saying, which means first comment was 14:18 central, not 15:18. First comment was posted BEFORE the 79.98 trade happened. Why???

CME trades in central time: http://www.cmegroup.com/trading_hours/

Central time is GMT -5: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/central-time/

ADMINS, you will need to independently verify time stamps and time zones to judge this bet properly!

    Goto CME Group site
    Click on Charts FEB 2015
Change time frame from 1D to 1 minute
Found the last tick on the chart
Take the timestamp from the chart – 2014-10-15 01:25:00
    Add 15 minutes of delaying
    Add 4 hours of diffrence

The server timestamp of this comment will be 15-10-14 05:40
