Will the difficulty be rounded to the nearest whole number or no?
#964: Anonymous 23-05-13 at 21:51
No rounding. Integer part only.
#965: haveagr8day 23-05-13 at 22:07
Ok, good to know.

So, BitBet allows another bad bet in opposition to the rules set out in the FAQ.
Don’t waste your time betting on this until BitBet specifies in the bet itself exactly how they intend to make their decision with regards to rounding.
They’re just trying to rip people off yet again.
#968: Anonymous 24-05-13 at 17:56
They never ripped anyone off get lost sore loser.

The anonymous poster who said only the integer part would be counted could be anybody.
If BitBet are not trying to scam its users, then the bet will be amended to clarify the decision makers intention with regards to the rounding issue.

I understand the word "even" to refer only to integers. I would assume this bet will resolve in a ‘no’ unless the difficulty is both an integer and divisible by 2.
Rounding is not mentioned in the terms of the bet.

Jesus, someone bet 1500 bucks on this silly bet.

Anon, if you don’t like anon replies the logical step is to ask in some venue with identified participants. The illogical step is start sprouting shoulds.

the lack of info regarding the rounding, truncating or inclusion of decimal numbers coming from a bitbet admin is discouraging to me.
#981: Anonymous 27-05-13 at 15:37
Agreed, this should be marked as a BadBet and re-listed in a more proper form.

So here we go : decimals truncated, no rounding.

This isn’t a bad bet but really it’s just like SatoshiDice 50%
#987: Anonymous 28-05-13 at 15:00
BitBet Mod, why post a comment that not everyone will read instead of adding that info to the bet itself?
#989: Anonymous 28-05-13 at 19:29
Cause it like that by definition: A number is even only if it’s divisible by to and results in a whole number. This includes negative numbers but not decimal numbers.

No bet text was ever modified, nor will it. Everyone’s problem if they read or do not read. If someone doesn’t grok what the words mean it’s their problem to find out.

Better than Satoshidice, only 1% fee.
#992: Anonymous 29-05-13 at 12:35
I can make random declarations without modifying the bet text too!

A master once told me to do the opposite of whatever he told me.
So I didn’t.
